You have seen many 2-dimensional (2D) or 3-dimensional (3D) designs which give a realistic feel. But do you know about isometric designs?
Isometric designs create realism like 3D images but on a 2D plane. Isometric artists use parallel projection to make their flat designs pop. Several businesses use Adobe Illustrator tool for creating clean graphical illustrations.
In this blog, you will learn to create isometric designs with the Adobe Illustrator tool.
First, go to new > and make a new document. Here, we need grid lines to make perspective shape in illustrator. After making a new document press ctrl+R to open the gridline now click on grid and make a new grid on a document like the below image.
Now select grid and double click on rotate tool to open rotate dialog where you need to change some setting like change degree 0 to 30 degree and put on this point. For example see below image:
Now press alt button and,
Drag and drop and make another copy grid line below.
Now press continue ctrl + D and make more copy grid line after making multiple grids. Now select all grid lines. After selecting all grid lines now right-click on grids and select Transform > reflect and you see below pop on on your screen.
Now click on copy and make sure you select horizontal to copy on another side now you see the final result on your screen like below image:
Now you will easily make any shape using pen tool just click on dots on horizontal and vertical line to make any shape.
Now add gradient and add more beautiful ul color to make your shape more effective.
Make any shape using the pen tool or make rectangle shape using the rectangle tool and now select your shape and go to Effect > 3D > Extrude & Bevel and now you see one pop up on your screen.
Using Extrude Depth you will change shape depth.
Now make this given changes on popup like set position to Isometric right and Select Bevel to Classic.
And in the final result, you will see the 3D shapes on your screen.
While making 3D shapes don’t do any changes on final shape otherwise you need to follow the below step again.
For making 3D house on illustrator first select the rectangle tool and make a simple rectangle on your artboard. now make a below-given shape for more effective house. Add more design on your rectangle.
Give gradient colour for more effective. Now select your first rectangle and go to Effect > 3D > and select Extrude & Bevel to make perspective shape.
And in the end, you will see perspective shape like below given image.
